Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Are you insured?

A. We have full public liability insurance up to the value of £5,000,000.

Q. Do you work to a British Standard?

A. Yes, BS3998: 2010 'Tree Work - Recommendations'.

Q. Will you provide a written quotation?

A. Yes. We can either email or provide a paper copy, whichever is most convenient for you.

Q. How will I know if I have a Tree Preservation Order or any other restrictions on what work can be done to the tree?

A. Some trees will either fall within a conservation area or have a Tree Preservation Order placed upon. This does not mean that work cannot be carried out upon them, but first permission must be obtained from your local authority. We can provide contact details and where to find them to enable you to apply for the work to be done, or we can do this on your behalf.

Q. Will you take away all of the material that is cut down?

A. Yes, unless agreed upon beforehand. We will take away all wood chip or logs that are from the work carried out. Some clients will request that wood chip is left to create a mulch for flower beds or logs left for seasoning to then be used on their wood burning stoves.
